Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer 'open' to being Donald Trump's vice president
Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is open to joining presumptive Republican nominee
Donald Trump's ticket, she said on a Sunday morning talk show.
During an appearance on CNN's 'State of the Union', host Jake Tapper showed Brewer a list of potential running mates. The list included Sen. Marco Rubio, former Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

After Brewer joked that she wasn't on the list, Tapper asked if she would be willing to be considered. "Of course I would be," she said. "I would be willing to serve in any capacity that I could be of help with Donald on." She later tweeted out a similar statement.
Of course I'm willing to be considered for VP, but I'll help @realDonaldTrump in any capacity to be our next president @CNNSotu@jaketapper

Trump said last week that he is looking to pair with an elected official, telling MSNBC, "I'll probably go the political route, somebody that can help with legislation, somebody that can get things passed, somebody that's been friends with senators and congressmen."

Tapper asked Brewer on Sunday if she thought it would be wise to select a woman, as polls suggest Trump is unpopular with women. Brewer hit back at that implication, adding "This woman thing has gotten way out of control, I believe. And I think it's been driven by the left."
