Regardless of the change in theme each year, the Met Gala guarantees sparkle. It wouldn't be what people refer to as the 'Superbowl of fashion' without a little glitz. This year, however, adhering to the 'Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology' theme, stars showed up in radiant silver and gold looks.

Taylor Swift, hosting the event in a sparkly Louis Vuitton mini dress, may have taken the cake for glitz alongside Naomi Watts, in stunning Burberry, and Demi Lovato, in a classically eccentric Jeremy Scott getup.
