Every spring, Hollywood's biggest stars and up-and-comers head east for the world-renowned Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

Now in its 15th year, TFF has become one of the biggest events of festival season. Among the 101 features being screened or premiering this year much talked about film, "King Cobra." It revolves around the rise and fall of former gay porn star, Sean Paul Lockhart (played by Garrett Clayton).

The film also features a cast full of A-listers, such as James Franco, Molly Ringwald, Alicia Silverstone and Christian Slater.

It seems like everyone has something to say about the film. But much of the talk is regarding its lead Clayton, who is doing a 180 in his career, going from a Disney star to porn star in "King Cobra."

AOL.com had a chance to sit down with 25-year-old Clayton who opened up about the film and how he almost didn't take the role at first. He admitted it when his managers told him about the film, it caused him a bit of apprehension, but that this was the time in his life where it was okay to take a risk.

It seems like that risk is definitely paying off for him.
