A FedEx worker who succumbed to the desire for a nap, be it accidentally or intentionally, ended up triggering a stowaway scare, reports KCBD.

According to WATN, early Friday morning, the employee was loading up a cargo plane in Memphis, when he, at some point, fell asleep.

The man awoke to realize the plane was in flight, so he knocked on the cockpit door to let the crew know he was back there.

Prior to landing the aircraft at Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport, Texas, the pilot alerted air traffic control to the situation.

While the TSA and the FBI were both notified, the incident was handled by airport personnel.

No official charges were pressed.
