The NFL Draft is still weeks away, but there are already some blockbuster moves happening. The Los Angeles Rams traded up to get the Tennessee Titans' top pick in the draft on Thursday.

The Titans were just 3-13 in 2015 so they have a lot of needs. Assuming Marcus Mariota is the long-term solution at quarterback, they've decided to pull the trigger on this huge trade with the relocated Rams to bolster their future with a handful of great draft picks.

The Rams, on the other hand, are looking to make a big splash as they venture to L.A. In their last year in St. Louis they went 7-9, so perhaps that one great player could push them into playoff contention. Or, they'll grab who they hope to be a franchise quarterback with the top pick.

Tennessee really stocked up with this trade. They'll get the Rams' first round pick at 15th overall, and their two second round picks (the Rams had two of them via the Sam Bradford trade). In addition, they'll get the Rams third round pick in 2016 and first and third round picks in 2017.

The Titans will have a whopping SIX picks in the first three rounds of the 2016 draft: 15, 33, 43, 45, 64 and 76. Four of those came from the Rams for the top overall pick. Then the Titans will have five picks in the first three rounds of 2017 with the additional first and third round selections.

It's hard not to see how the Titans didn't win this deal. It's nice to have the top overall pick, but the Rams gave up a lot to get it. They can't miss on this pick or the repercussions could be felt for a while.
