Johnny Manziel hasn't quite been able to keep his name out of headlines for the wrong reasons in 2016. And even while the 23-year-old still hasn't found a job for the coming NFL season, he continues to put himself in the wrong situations.

According to TMZ, Manziel was a passenger in a car Saturday night that struck a pole and later fled the scene. The driver of the vehicle was Ryan Silverstein, or OVO Ryan of Drake's OVO group. Suspended NFL wide receiver Josh Gordon was allegedly the one who picked the pair up.

The TMZ report says Manziel is not accused of any criminal wrongdoing, and has admitted to being a passenger in the car. Gordon isn't under any criminal investigation, either, though Silverstein may still be charged with misdemeanor hit-and-run.

Earlier that night, TMZ spotted Manziel at The Nice Guy bar in Los Angeles, where he explained, on film, his current living arrangements with Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller. You can watch the video above.

Consider this the latest installment of the Johnny Manziel saga of 2016.
