Stuart Weitzman partners with Pencils of Promise

Updated

It's easy to get caught up in the glamour and allure of fashion. We spend our time poring over photos from the runways and online shopping, and we can't wait for our next big splurge. While living and breathing fashion is certainly fun, we're probably not spending as much time as we could be thinking about doing good in the world.

Thankfully, Stuart Weitzman has made it possible for us to be fashionable and charitable at the very same time. The brand has partnered with Pencils of Promise, an organization that works to give children around the world access to quality education.

Stuart Weitzman will fund the building of three schools, one each in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos, and to benefit the cause, the iconic shoe designer created an exclusive yellow version of the fabulous NearlyNude block-heel sandal -- proceeds from which will go toward building the three schools.

To celebrate the partnership, the brand held a private dinner in New York City Monday evening. Gigi Hadid, Solange Knowles, Emmy Rossum, Olivia Culpo, Joan Smalls, Olivia Palermo and more were in attendance. Click through the slideshow above to see photos from the event!

The NearlyNude style is a favorite of celebrities like Emma Roberts and Michelle Obama, so its safe to say a purchase of the sandal puts you in good company, and it's hard to argue when the proceeds go to such a good cause!

So what are you waiting for? Head to stuartweitzman.com or any of the Stuart Weitman flagship boutiques to pick up your new favorite shoe for spring, and to do a little good, of course.
