Jimmy Kimmel noticed that the plot of "Captain America: Civil War" isn't all that different from how the 2016 presidential election is unfolding, so naturally, he made a fake movie trailer starring Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders as the Marvel superheroes.

"Both of them feature former friends who are now enemies, they both feature powerful men and women who are also cartoon characters — there is a lot of interest in both," Kimmel said on Monday night's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

The trailer starts with the voiceover saying, "This summer, an all-American idealist faces off against a diabolical billionaire." Of course, the latter is Trump, who flies around in the Iron Man armor, while Sanders debates him as Captain America.

They fight over campaign finances and the American Dream, until Hillary Clinton comes in as the Scarlet Witch.

"America: Civil War" also features Ben Carson in a cameo that got the biggest laugh of all.
