Bowie, Texas, is trying to stab its way into the Guinness Book of World Records.
They've got a really big knife and they want everyone to see it. It's a 20-foot long, 3,000 pound stainless steal knife that is set to be dedicated in June and then Guinness is going get a phone call to come and check it out.
The people in charge though do say they expect it to be a world record.
America loves her road side attractions. If you're in Kansas and you're into this sort of stuff you can check out the biggest ball of twine. In Brandon, Iowa, you can go ahead and check out the world's largest frying pan. Outside the Louisville Slugger factory in Kentucky stands a 120-foot and thus the world's largest baseball bat.
In Illinois you can find the largest bottle of ketchup. Canada even jumps into the mix with the world's largest axe. It's huge at 49-feet tall and weighs over 55 tons.
