Why Is China Showing Military Might Now?

China's paramilitary police training is seriously intense.

The Chinese Paramilitary Forces are made up of three main parts -- the People's Armed Police (PAP), the People's Liberation Army (PLA), and the reserve force. They act as auxiliaries to the PLA, which is the world's largest military force, with with 2.3 million troops.
