Outrage After Nurse Chastised For Late-Night Pizza Order

One nurse received more than she hoped for recently when she ordered a pizza on her graveyard shift, only to find a rude note attached along with it.

Since finding a normal, late-night meal is not the easiest of tasks, the nurse at Paris Regional Medical Center in Texas called in the pie around 11:55 p.m., five minutes before the Domino's location was set to close.

Therein lies the problem for the employee, who, after realizing he or she had to stay later than anticipated, wrote the accompanying note on the box: "We would appreciate it very much if you didn't wait until 5 minutes before we close. Thanks!"

This did not sit well with Kerry Miller, a friend of the nurse, who reached out to local news channel, CBS11, in hopes of finding an apology.

"It was the rudest thing I've ever seen," said Miller. He continued, saying, "I don't care if they called one minute 'til, the business is still open. Service your customers."

The local franchise failed to comment on the situation or about the status of the employee who wrote the note. However, a spokesperson for Domino's said, "We do not condone or encourage this kind of behavior or one-sided 'dialogue' with our customers."
