March Madness is in full swing with the Final Four set to go down this weekend -- which makes this a perfect time to remember that there is a ton of money at stake. Just not for the players, of course.
Forbes concluded last year that a trip to the Final Four is worth upwards of $8 million to a program. This surely factors in to new arenas worth hundreds of millions of dollars, athletic directors taking home six figures, and coaches' salaries continuing to rise each year.
