Nick Jonas Drops 'Close' Music Video, Opens Up About 'Complicated' Year

Nick Jonas revealed a lot of information about his new album on Twitter.

On Thursday, he revealed its title, song names, collaborators and the inspiration behind it all. And, of course, he shared some new music.

The new album is called Last Year Was Complicated and will be out June 10 via Island Records, while the debut single, "Close," featuring Tove Lo, also dropped overnight, ahead of the Friday release of its music video.

The pop star also revealed that Big Sean, Ty Dolla $ign, Bebe Rexha and Allen Iverson were all a part of the project and released the album artwork as a nine-piece mosaic on Instagram.

Jonas also listed song titles describing just how complicated last year was, including "Voodoo," "Champagne Problems," "Good Girls," "Don't Make Me Choose" and "Unhinged."

"When I first started making I thought I knew what it would be about... Then I had a breakup," Jonas tweeted of the album. "It then became very clear what this thing would be about... And that I would need to dig really deep. ... Shit is too real sometimes... Reliving some of these real life experiences through this music is hard. ... But I know it's important that I do it. I want to be an open book in my art.. ... The first song you're gonna hear tomorrow night is about how I literally can't open up and be vulnerable with someone.. "
