Twitter users are coming up with events that are #SaferThanATrumpRally
In the past few weeks, violence has exploded at Donald Trump rallies and events. People have been shoved, punched, kicked, grabbed and left bloodied. Protestors have stopped a Trump rally in Chicago and shut down a road Phoenix. Even more anti-Trump protests have been staged across the country.
Many have condemned Trump for the violence, but the GOP front-runner maintains that he is innocent and places blame on the protestors.
"Some of these protesters were violent, they were swinging, they were hitting people and they were doing damage, and frankly, the crowd turned on them," Donald Trump said about the rally in Chicago.
Regardless of where the blame is placed, many are tired of the violence. This outrage has prompted Twitter users to come up with different events that are #SaferThanATrumpRally.
