Zayn Releases new slow jam 'BeFoUr'

Updated

Where do broken hearts go?

Zayn Malik is done with the fighting and ready to move on to a new chapter, according to the lyrics of his new tune, "BeFoUr," which he released earlier today (March 17).

Between the One Direction-referencing title and some of the lyrics ("Now, I'm gonna stay in my zone / I'm tired of picking that bone / And I can't be bothered to fight it no more, no"), it wouldn't be a stretch to assume this is Zayn's musical response to a year of rumors, in fighting, and big changes with his former boy band.

The slow jammer falls in line with Zayn's previous solo songs, all of which find the crooner getting in touch with his R&B side.

Pillage for telling lyrical cues while Zayn channels his inner Justin Timberlake by checking out the new song below.

Mind of Mine is due out March 25, which, coincidentally, is exactly one year after Malik left One Direction.
