FLOTUS certainly knows how to bring down a room.

While delivering a keynote speech at South by Southwest on Wednesday, in which she shed light on the lack of opportunities for the 62 million girls around the world not enrolled in school, Michelle Obama was questioned about her future in politics.

During a conversation moderated by Queen Latifah, the first lady was asked if she'd ever run for president. The crowd erupted in applause at the question.

Unfortunately, Michelle was quick to shut the idea down.

"I will not run for president," she told the crowd. "No, nope. Not gonna do it."

Needless to say, the room was not too thrilled.

The first lady went on in true fierce-mama fashion, using her daughters Sasha and Malia as her motivation to ultimately step away from the political spotlight.

Then, continuing on her quest to empower women, Obama dropped a new single dedicated to women everywhere, entitled "This Is for My Girls," an instant anthem for feminists around the world.

Though the first lady did not lend her vocals to the inspirational track, she did enlist the help of pop talents like Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, Zendaya, Janelle Monae, Lea Michele, Chloe and Halle, Missy Elliot and Jadagrace to make it a hit.

While Michelle Obama may never be our president, she'll always be the first lady in our hearts.
