'Desserted in Paris' Instagram is the perfect hybrid of fashion and food

This one was starring at me at @lagrandeepicerie vitrine and I had to have it, plus it's half savory half sweet!

Bringing together fashion and food like never before, pastry chef Tal Spiegel has created an Instagram account that combines two of his biggest passions in life.

Appropriately titled, "Desserted in Paris," the account follows the sweets connoisseur on his journey to taste every pastry, loaf, cake and tart in the city of love.

Once Spiegel has purchased said delicacy, he coordinates the ornate food item with one of his many beautiful pairs of shoes. The result? A colorful juxtaposition that brings out the uniqueness of both.

The page, which has amassed some 50,000 followers, is all about vibrancy and aesthetic. According to Bored Panda, where Spiegel spoke out about the project, "There is a natural connection between the colorfulness of desserts and shoes, and this is a project I just can't stop creating!"

Visited @cafe_pouchkine_paris today for this fresh raspberry and tvorog cheese tart matching my @story_online reds it was a match made in heaven. Best way to start the day.
As you must know by now I'm a sucker for pears, specially when they come in a shape of a dessert, just like this "Tartlette Poir" by @julienalvarezofficiel for @thepeninsulaparis with a caramelized feuilletage base, salted caramel and earl grey, poached pears, ginger confit and vanilla cream. Speechless.
Easter is coming! I know it now that I saw this salted butter caramel eclair by @lagrandeepicerie ran to get matching pair of balthazars by @lebonmarcherivegauche happy woman day ladies, your awesome!
Monday morning is a good time to have coffee, preferably in a shape of a cake like this "Moka infiniment café" by @pierreherme with a coffee Genoise, coffee chantilly, coffee cream and coffee sablé. Now that's a great coffee booster to kick off your Monday.
Pink pink pink! Look at this sweet eclair from @fauchon_paris with lemon cremeux, Fresh raspberry compote and lemony vanilla chantilly. It's a perfect match with my @arama_shoes pink ones!
What a better way to spend your afternoon than at tea time at @thepeninsulaparis and enjoy this "Fraicheur acidulée" with a spéculoos base, a nut biscuit, confit of blood oranges, Yuzu cream and lemon cream by chef @julienalvarezofficiel it's a good thing I wore my matching new blood orange @palladium_officiel by @story_online
It's so warm and sunny here in Tel Aviv and my first visit is to this amazing patisserie in the heart of the white city. @gerald_tlv white cheese cake with a speculoos and vanilla biscuit base and white chocolate glacage. It doesn't get any closer to Paris than this.
Here we go!!! Desserted_in_London week starts now! Starting with this lychee raspberry rose eclair at @thesavoylondon sweet little shop "Melba" , this eclair and my shoes seem as if they were created together!
