Thailand's largest charity event kicked off on Thursday -- an over-the-top 4-day polo match, featuring beautiful elephants. More than $400,000 has been raised and will be donated to various elephant charities.

Although the elephant industry is under intense scrutiny, the animals are treated with great care during the event. They're provided with a large fruit and veggie buffet, and have designated rest times and doctor check-ups.
