Sarah Paulson got drunk on Tequila with Marcia Clark: 'Her mole kept moving around'
Sarah Paulson met her The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story character in real life -- and lots of tequila was involved.
"I did meet [Clark]," Paulson told Ellen DeGeneres. "I drank a lot of tequila with her."
"It was really fun," she added. "It was like the mole kept moving all over her face in my mind. It was like is that you? Oh, now it's on your forehead."
The American Crime Story star went on to explain that she felt like a fangirl meeting Clark, after reading Jeffrey Toobin's book, The Run of His Life : The People versus O. J. Simpson, on which the show is based.
Paulson said when Clark waked in the room she "made a lot of weird sort of squeal-y pig noises."
"I was so excited. I had spent so much time with my nose sort of in a book, about her, her actual book, the Toobin book," Paulson said, "that when I saw her it was like seeing someone I'd idolized or had a terrible crush on for my whole life. And she walked into the restaurant and I just started going 'ahhh' and she sort of looked around the restaurant like this was a sort of terrifying experience for her."
In February, Clark opened up to ET about meeting Paulson -- and the one apology she gave the actress.
"The first thing I said to her was sorry about that hair," Clark recalled, making reference to her infamous curly perm she had during the televised trial.
"She's an amazing actress," the prosecutor added. "She surpassed anything I could have ever imagined. She's funny and so brilliant and she's a wonderful person."
But Clark isn't the only famous person who Paulson gushed over meeting, telling DeGeneres about the time she met Cher.
"I met her at a party and by 'met her' I mean I used my nose to part her hair from behind just to smell it," Paulson candidly shared, admitting she didn't want to use her hands so that Cher wouldn't know what she was doing.
This isn't the first time Paulson has been an open book. Watch the video below to hear what she had to say about her relationship with girlfriend, Holland Taylor.
