Impressive New Zealand kite festival is what dreams are made of

Colorful kites of all shapes and sizes lined the skies of New Zealand's Otaki Beach on Monday amid crowds of eager onlookers during the town's 4th Otaki Kite Festival.

The two-day event brings together kite fliers from around the country to showcase their artistry, design and flying skills.

The Otaki Kite Festival, held annually at Otaki Beach on the Kapiti Coast, typically hosts around 12,000 spectators.
