Return of the Jedi is an awesome movie, and is still somehow always thought of poorly. It's underrated, and still holds up. Totally deserves to be included in the good graces of fans, and in history.

And a rebel pilot in that film, Nien Nunb, who managed to stand out as a character despite totally getting the shaft from all parties involved, is also awesome. The dude was an INTEGRAL part of the second Death Star's destruction, essentially serving as the Chewbacca to Lando's Han Solo.

And if I didn't respect him in Return of the Jedi, I certainly respected him in The Force Awakens, where he returns to once again participate in a daring attack against a deadly weapon. Dude's been doing that for THIRTY YEARS, and doing it well. That deserves a gold star in my book.

So yes, I'm team Nien Nunb...but that doesn't make it any less strange that the character will become the first new hero introduced in the Star Wars: Battlefront DLC. But that's apparently the case, as DICE revealed that Nien Nunb will be a new playable hero in the first set of Star Wars: Battlefront DLC entitled "Outer Rim." Nien Nunb will be joined by Greedo, who's a punk who shot second, and thus kind of a lame addition.

In addition to the two new heroes, the DLC pack will come with two new maps: one that takes place on Sullust, and what that is set inside Jabba's Palace. The DLC will also come with two new weapons, (the Relby V-10 rifle and the DT12 blaster pistol), new player cards (Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade, and Adrenaline Stim), and a new CTF inspired mode entitled "Extraction." Which is all fine and good, especially if you're someone who has a season pass and will just be getting the content regardless. For folks like me who would have to buy the DLC separately...eh, might not be the best of deals.

But hey, if you REALLY want to see Greedo get gunned down mercilessly by Han Solo (LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE), then you'll be able to get your hands on the DLC later this month. But yeah, Han shot first. Let's make that clear. He just did. He shot first.
