Before and After: From the Oscars to the after-parties

Brie Larson was ready to win gold in a blue Gucci gown with a heavily embellished belt and pretty ruffles. We specially liked the pretty pink lipstick she rocked. Later, she was the peach of perfection in a one-shoulder velvet gown with shoes dyed to match.

Chrissy Teigen was quite possibly the most glamorous pregnant lady on the red carpet. John Legend's leading lady looked incredible in a nude Marchesa gown with red appliques and then she went for an equally glam look later in the evening with an inky, sequined black gown.

Daisy Ridley was the essence of glamour in Chanel Couture at the start of the evening. The sparkling, silver dress complemented her pale complexion in the best way possible. Later she opted for a flirty black frock with white detailing.

Heidi Klum looked like a frothy purple sundae in a whimsical, purple ballgown from Marchesa and her hair swept back. Later, she ditched the over-the-top frock for a slinky black, strapless gown with blue pops of color. She brought her hair down for an extra sexy effect.

Forget basic black! Jennifer Lawrence had us jumping for "joy" over her two unique black looks. She hit the Oscars in a sexy feather and lace dress with a plunging neckline. The sexy dress showed off her incredible physique in the gown, but then she turned things up a notch for the after-parties. J-Law his the town in a sultry two-piece Alexander Wang concoction with racy slits.  Well done, Jen.

Kerry Washington didn't rock our worlds with her Atelier Versace black and white gown with a sexy side-slit. The leather dress was definitely a departure from her normal simple gowns. Then at the after-parties, Washington put the "scandal" in scandalous with a white gown with a plunging neckline and back. It was a head-turner into the evening hours.

Olivia Munn didn't mess around this year! The stunning star started off her Oscar evening in a persimmon-colored Stella McCartney, one-shoulder dress and then she turned to a sequined number for the after-party. The green dress, with cutouts on the bodice and a thigh-high slit, was a total knockout.

Olivia Wilde delivered serious cleavage in two back-to-back dresses that had down-to-there plunges. The first dress, a white Valentino, had two columns and pretty pleating and the second dress had a similar effect, but in red.

Rachel McAdams was one to watch this year. The "Spotlight" star stole the spotlight in an August Getty Atelier emerald green dress with a jaw-dropping low back and train. For the after-parties she went in a complete different direction with a pink sequined number with a thigh-high slit.

Sofia Vergara knows what she's working with. The "Modern Family" star left us in awe with her strapless, midnight blue gown with layers of fabric and sparkle from Marchesa. Then for the evening, she turned to her old pal Mark Zunino for a white gown that hugged her A-list curves.

Whoopi Goldberg rocked an all-black gown for the actual award ceremony, but when it came to the after-party she went fully casual in a pair of pants and a funky looking scarf.
