Lea Michele is back in the dating pool.

After two years together, "The Scream Queens" star, 29, and her model boyfriend, Matthew Paetz, broke up.

"Their split is a huge shock to all their friends," a source told ET. "Lea and Matthew were talking about getting engaged as recently as around the holidays. Everyone thought they would get engaged soon, but definitely not split."

Michele met Paetz on the set of her "On My Way" music video in April 2014. She constantly gushed about him in interviews over the past year and he was her first boyfriend after the devastating death of her "Glee" co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith in 2013.

"Lea is surrounded by her friends, who have rallied around her and support her," a source close to the couple told PEOPLE. "She's doing fine, focusing on her work, her music and her album."

Her social media accounts prove just that. She has definitely been leaning on her gal pals and hitting a bunch of workout classes from Soul Cycle to yoga to get over her breakup.

On Sunday, she posted a slew of snaps where she's working on her yoga and hanging out with her pals, Emma Roberts and Becca Tobin.

Last week, she hit multiple Soul Cycle spin classes.

Sweat sessions and girls nights seem like a good way to mend a broken heart.
