Video Shows Rare 'Firenado' Amid Wildfire

A striking, fire-related phenomenon was recently spotted in Missouri, and a video of it was posted to the Facebook page of the Southern Platte Fire Protection District.

It shows a 'firenado' which is a funnel of fire whirling upwards into the sky because of high winds.

The event occurred during a massive grass fire which is believed to have been sparked by a prison lawnmower.

Despite 1,300-plus acres being affected, there are no known injuries.
