This family photo is going viral because no one can tell which woman is the mom

To the untrained eye, Kaylan Mahomes' recent Twitter upload may appear to be a photo of three beautiful, smiling triplets. But after reading the caption, your brain may start to question the reality of time and space itself.

Those women aren't triplets: They're two twins and a mother. And you're going to have to accept that you have no idea which is which.

Don't worry -- you aren't alone in your confusion. The entire social universe world has been plunged into utter confusion by this simple photo with a caption reading, "Mom, twin and me."​

Since it was posted on January 28, the photo has been retweeted more than 19,000 times and received more than 30,000 likes.

It's possible we haven't seen this sort of Internet freakout since "the dress" itself.

After seeing how much success their selfie garnered, the family created an Instagram page to share more images of the trio.

But the big question remains: Which youthful-looking lady is the mom?

This Instagram post may offer a critical hint.

The video's caption reads, "When your mom thinks it's a picture ... lol #whosthemom?" Is it just us, or does the lady on the left seem to be unaware she's being video taped. Hmmmm...

Now for the real important question -- what anti-aging cream is mom using, and where can we get some?
