Out-of-control car somehow lands on roof of California home
LOS ANGELES (PIX11) — A driver lost control of his car and ended up landing on the roof of a California home, prompting an emergency response on Wednesday afternoon.
Los Angeles County firefighters were called to the home in the 500 block of Palos Verdes Drive West at 3:39 p.m., a Fire Department official told KTLA.

A Fire Department spokesman later said on Twitter that the car was on the roof of a garage, and one patient had been removed from the vehicle and taken by ambulance to a hospital.
Capt. Mark Velez of the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department says the driver had some kind of a medical condition that caused him to lose control.
Before the car ended up on the roof, police say the driver hit two parked cars and then continued down the roadway, drifting into the yard of a home. He then hit another parked car in the driveway and was launched onto the roof of a neighbor's garage.
Multiple emergency vehicles were on scene, and the Fire Department's Urban Search & Rescue team was working to secure the car so it could be removed.
The Palos Verdes Estates Police Department asked residents to avoid about a 1-mile section of Palos Verdes Drive West and expect detours. The roadway is a key route through that section of the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
