Carol Burnett rocks UGG slippers at the 2016 SAG Awards

Carol Burnett knew that the 2016 SAG Awards was going to be her big night, but she didn't want the fact that she was being honored to stop her from being comfy.

The honoree for the 2016 SAG Life Award -- which will be presented by fellow comedians Amy Poehler and Tina Fey -- showed up on the red carpet tonight wearing grey UGG slippers with her otherwise super-glam outfit.

The 82-year-old was showing some serious leg in her green two-piece get-up that she paired with a gorgeous sequined black top.

We're not sure what went into Burnett's decision to wear fuzzy slippers on the carpet, but we presume that after years and years of having to look super glamorous at award shows, she's finally sticking it to the man and doing what she really wants.
