Republican Murals Vandalized On College Campus

DENVER (KDVR) -- Murals depicting Republican presidential candidates have been getting vandalized on the University of Denver campus.

The murals were created by the DU College Republicans. The vandalism started a few weeks ago, when a painting of presidential candidate Carly Fiorina was put up.

Someone wrote "fascist" under her face.

"They put 'Vote Republican because the 1950s were so fun,'" said Caroline Murray, a member of the group.

The next week, a mural of Ohio Gov. John Kasich was put up. Soon after, someone turned his face into the face of a devil.

"I'm angry. We have been very respectful for other groups on campus we don't agree with," Murray said.

The only thing drawn on the Democratic mural was a smiley face near Bernie Sanders' head.

The DU College Republicans just want whoever is doing it to stop. Especially because it plans to put Donald Trump's mural up next week.
