One Direction member Louis Tomlinson welcomes his son
Congrats are in order for Louis Tomlinson and former flame Briana Jungwirth!
The pair welcomed a baby boy this week in Los Angeles, according to People.
"Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother," a mutual friend said.
The singer, 23, sparked a frenzy in July when it was revealed he was expecting a child with Jungwirth, an LA-based stylist, hot off the heels of his breakup with longtime girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
"Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother," a source told People at the time.

Tomlinson, who met Jungwirth through mutual friends earlier last year, had vowed to be a "hands-on dad" when the baby arrived and had reportedly flown to LA for each ultrasound.
As for the soon-to-be mom, a pal said, "Briana is a really lovely girl; she's absolutely not interested in Louis' fame. She's very private and most of the time they spend together is out of the public eye, just hanging out with their friends."
Although Tomlinson has been supportive of his baby's mother, they likely won't live together as a family of three. The singer is reportedly in a relationship with "The Originals" star Danielle Campbell, 20. The couple was recently spotted grocery shopping together in LA.
One thing is for sure: With One Direction on a hiatus, the young father will have plenty of time to be involved in the child's care and upbringing.
