Madonna pays tribute to David Bowie with 'Rebel Rebel' cover at Houston concert
Madonna honored the memory of David Bowieon Tuesday during her a stop on her Rebel Heart Tour at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
The 57-year-old pop icon paid tribute to the late singer with a cover of his 1974 hit "Rebel Rebel," as well as a video memorial made up of iconic photos of the legendary singer.

"[Bowie] changed my life after seeing him perform in Detroit," Madonna shared during the musical memorial.

Madonna shared her heartbreak on Instagram after Bowie died on Sunday after an 18-month battle with cancer, two days after turning 69.

"Talented . Unique. Genius. Game Changer. The Man who Fell to Earth. Your Spirit Lives on Forever!" the Material Girl captioned a following black-and-white pic of Bowie.

Madonna also shared a throwback photo of herself standing with Bowie, which she captioned, "So lucky to have met you!!!! Hot Tramp I love you So!"

On Monday, Madonna penned a touching tribute to Bowie, where she shared how Bowie inspired her to become the artist she is today.
"I already had many of his records and was so inspired by the way he played with gender confusion. Was both masculine and feminine. Funny and serious. Clever and wise. His lyrics were witty ironic and mysterious," Madonna wrote. "I found him so inspiring and innovative."
I'm devastated.David Bowie changed the course of my life forever. I never felt like I fit in growing up in Michigan....
