Gwyneth Paltrow's diet isn't as strict as it's made out to be -- or at least that's what she claims.

In a recent interview with Yahoo! Beauty, the mother of two says that there is a lot of "misinformation" out there about what she eats, explaining, "I really don't have any rules."

"We are a pretty balanced house," the founded of lifestyle site Goop elaborates. "I mean, kids eat sugar -- that's how it goes; so we have organic snacks and we have Oreos too!"

It's not just her children Apple, 11, and Moses, 9, that get to indulge, though. Paltrow says that she loves french fries, cheese and martinis just as much as the rest of us do and she allows herself to enjoy those things.

Though she does let herself splurge every now and then, the 43-year-old does start her year every year with the 7-day Goop detox. What does that entail, exactly? Well, for seven days, Paltrow says "no" to gluten, dairy, caffeine, alcohol, added sugar, red meat, shellfish, nightshades and white rice.

So, maybe she does have a couple of rules, but we're glad to hear that that doesn't stop her from having an Oreo once in a while.
