Best beauty looks from the 2016 Golden Globes red carpet

This year, the Golden Globes red carpet saw no shortage of gorgeous gowns and covetable beauty. And while most starlets looked stunning from head to toe, there were certainly some standout beauty moments. See below for the four winning beauty looks that earned our vote:

1. Eva Longoria's Romantic Updo

Eva Longoria always looks amazing, so it's no shocker that her luscious locks turned heads. Her elegant messy bun was a simple contrast against her sleek and bold gown.

To achieve Longoria's look, give your strands definition with texturizing spray before teasing into a low ponytail. Then, smooth ends with a high-shine glossing mist, and twist into a messy bun before securing with a strong-hold hairspray.

2. Jennifer Lopez's Fiery Red Lips

J.Lo is always one to wow, so it comes as no surprise that her pout stole the show. The fierce red shade highlighted her luminous skin and was the perfect finishing touch to her vibrant yellow gown.

Her makeup artist, Mary Phillips, mixed three lip colors to craft this custom shade -- L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Gloss in Rouge Envy, Nude Allude and Forbidden Kiss -- applying the darkest shade around the outer edge of the lip and then the lighter shades inward to create a dimensional look.

3. Julianne Moore's Shimmery Eyes

Julianne Moore is the queen of fresh-faced beauty, so of course her red-carpet look is no exception. Her subtly shimmery eyes were the perfect complement to her midnight-blue sequined dress, adding just enough glamour without being overpowering.

Elaine Offers, Moore's makeup artist, created the classic gaze by blending dusty rose shades from L'Oréal's Colour Riche La Palette in Nude 02 across the lids. Then, she added a hint of Infallible 24HR Eye Shadow in Endless Pearl in the inner corners for a multitoned look.

4. Eva Longoria's Fierce Smoky Eye

If Eva Longoria's floral embroidered dress didn't steal the show, her smoldering smoky gaze certainly did. The cool gray tones balanced out the warm champagne and floral shades of her gown.

Longoria's eyes popped with a smudge of charcoal eyeliner along the waterline, highlighting her natural eye shape. And with two coats of ultra-volumizing mascara, her lashes reached new lengths.
