Wendy Williams clashes with Alyssa Milano over breastfeeding: I don't need to see that

Wendy Williams didn't hold back when she clashed with actress Alyssa Milano over breastfeeding in public.

"I don't need to see that," Williams said to Milano when the actress appeared on her show.

"Why?" asked Milano.

"Because I just don't want to," said Williams.

Williams offered a solution to breastfeeding in public: "What I would do is go to the car," she said.

"You would go feed your baby in the car?" asked Milano.

"Yes," said Williams.

Milano, a 43-year-old mom of two, is a breastfeeding advocate who regularly shares selfies showing her nursing her children.

"I've been posting pictures of my breastfeeding journey since Izabella was a little baby, and some of them you see more than that one," Milano told Williams on Wednesday.

Famous women sharing their own breastfeeding photos is a growing phenomenon. Supermodel Gisele Bundchen posted a photo of herselfgetting glammed up while nursing.

Actress Olivia Wilde breastfed during her photoshoot for Glamourmagazine.

And after giving birth to twins, Angelina Jolie appeared on the cover of Wmagazine, nursing .

Williams is a mom to a 16-year-old son who she said she breastfed but she said she has a hard time accepting breastfeeding in public.

"Breastfeeding is only for a particular amount of time. The rest of your life,your breasts are sexual things," said Williams.

"Biologically, they were not made for sexual things, but that's what we've done to them," said Milano.

The actress added: "You're lucky the baby's not here. I would whip 'em out and feed him right here on the show."
