While it may only be six years since "Jersey Shore" first premiered on MTV, life has definitely changed for these party animals.

From Snooki, to J-Wow, to Ronnie...the most drama seemed to swirl around Mike Sorrentino. He was known as "The Situation," after all. Sorrentino's incessant flirting, to drunken fights, and chiseled abs, Mike "the situation" definitely made for very entertaining TV.

Sorrentino made headlines last year after it was reported that he failed to pay his taxes for a number of years. Sorrentino was supposed to go on trial on Sept. 8 of this year, but his trial was delayed.

According to USA Today, "Michael Sorrentino, 34, of Manalapan, N.J., who reportedly made up to $150,000 an episode for the six-season MTV reality series, and his brother, Marc, were supposed to go on trial in federal court on Sept. 8 on charges that they failed to pay all of the taxes due on $8.9 million in income they earned from promotional activities from 2010 through 2012."

It is unclear where Sorrentino's legal battle stands today, but one thing's for sure. "The Situation" and his girlfriend, Lauren Pesce make a cute couple.

In fact, the pair recently appeared on WE TV's reality show, "Marriage Boot Camp: Season 3" along with fellow reality stars like Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett.

It looks like the cast of "Jersey Shore" are growing up and moving on from their party ways. We're interested to see what they're all up to next!
