Some of Hollywood's most famous women are appearing beaten and bruised in a shocking anti-domestic violence campaign.

Images of stars including Kim Kardashian, Madonna, Angelina Jolie, Kendall Jenner, Emma Watson, Miley Cyrus and Gwyneth Paltrow are featured in artist and activist AleXsandro Palombo's latest project, "No Woman is Immune from Domestic Violence."

See some of the stars featured in the campaign:

Palombo shared the images on social media. He paired the celebrities with famous animated characters that also appeared battered.

He intends to show how any woman can be a victim of abuse, even celebrities, but that "life can be a fairytale if you break the silence."
