Gal Gadot shares 'Wonder Woman' photo

Gal Gadot is adding to her fans' building anticipation for the 2017 release of Warner Bros.' superhero movie Wonder Woman.

The actress, who will star in the Patty Jenkins-directed film, gave fans a sneak peak of her as the title character in a Twitter photo Friday night.

"Almost 75 years in the making...; #WonderWoman is underway," Gadot captioned the photo, which shows her cloaked and standing in front of London's Big Ben.

Before Jenkins signed on to helm the project, the film's former director, Zack Snyder, shared a Wonder Woman photo at Comic-Con in 2014.

Chris Pine will co-star as Steve Trevor in the Jason Fuchs- and William M. Marston-written film.
