Darrelle Revis had not been having a good day at the office through the first three quarters of the New York Jets' Week 11 matchup with the Houston Texans. He was consistently getting burned by DeAndre Hopkins and hardly looked like the elite defensive player that the Jets expect him to be. His day got much worse late in that third quarter after he suffered a head injury.

Late in the third frame, Revis appeared shaken up after a drive. After talking to trainers, he was taken to the back. The word from the Jets is that Revis suffered a head injury and is questionable to return:

Whenever you see "head injury" and "questionable" regarding a player, that's normally a sign that the player is dealing with a possible concussion. With it already being late in the game, it feels safe to say that Revis won't be back against Houston and the better question is if he will miss any more time.

In his return to the Jets, Revis hasn't been the superstar he's being paid to play like. He's seemed a step slower and Revis Island has become increasingly populated. That being said, losing him for any time would be a significant blow to the Jets defense and, subsequently, the Jets' hopes of sneaking into the postseason as a wildcard team.
