In this photo by Deepak Sharma, camels stand in a field at sunrise at the annual cattle fair in Pushkar in western India's Rajasthan state. Herders bring hundreds of thousands of camels, horses and cattle from all over northern and western India to sell them at the famed fair in the town 325 kilometers (200 miles) southwest of New Delhi. The town has music and dance performance at night to entertain the tens of thousands of Indian and foreign visitors who come during the fair. Hindus also come to Pushkar to see the town's 400 temples or take a ritual dip in the lake, which they believe washes away their sins.
