Maggie the rescued pup had excruciating sores across her entire body from mites when Texas Chihuahua Rescue brought her to the Vet Ranch Rescue.

In a video, Dr. Wendy from Vet Ranch explained that Maggie suffered from scabies, and needed medication and a special laser therapy to kill them and speed up the healing.

For the laser therapy, Maggie needed to wear a pair of shades to protect her eyes.

"She actually tolerates them really well," Dr. Wendy said while Maggie posed in her new specs. "She's a sweet girl. She looks so cool."
