Ex-Obama official writing 'Star Wars' book
NEW YORK (AP) — And now for the wonky side of "Star Wars," from a former Obama administration official.
Cass Sunstein, the White House regulatory "czar" during Obama's first term, has a deal with Dey Street Books for an "exploration" of the box-office phenomenon. According to Dey Street, Sunstein will touch upon everything from history to politics to fatherhood. The book is scheduled for May, the publisher announced Tuesday, although an exact day hasn't been chosen. May 4, with its aural proximity to "May the force ..." is the unofficial holiday for "Star Wars" fans.
"Star Wars: Episode VII" arrives Dec. 18.
Sunstein, now on the faculty of Harvard University, is a prolific author whose books include "Simpler: The Future of Government" and "Choosing Not to Choose: Understanding the Value of Choice."
