Any mom or dad can tell you raising a child is no easy feat. But for single parents, it's a challenge that's feels even harder to tackle.

Richard Johnson understands just how difficult -- but also rewarding -- single parenting can be. The young father poured out his heart in a viral Facebook post, published to the popular page Life of a Dad, claiming:

Johnson is the father to an adorable 10-month-old girl named Persephone. He started raising his infant alone 9 months ago after her mother left due to issues with depression. But when tragedy struck, the father found hope in the incredible tales from other parents experiencing the same things he was.

Johnson's post garnered an unbelievable response and within just 24 hours, he uploaded another post with more words of encouragement. The young dad also went on to explain more about his estranged wife, and the underlying reason as to why he was so scared to raise a child single-handedly.
