Two men got the shock of a lifetime when a great white shark slammed into the side of their cage while diving off the coast of South Africa -- and they have the footage to prove it.



Reddit user paintball6818 posted the shocking footage online Sunday of his adventure in Gansbaai, South Africa.

The short video shows him and another person cage diving when a Great White Shark suddenly comes racing into sight and towards the two.

The shark lunges at the cage at an alarmingly rapid pace, ensnaring its teeth in the metal rails and biting down on the edge.

"Holy s***!" one of them exclaims, clearly taken aback by the close call.
