The company has joined with charity Age UK to create the two-minute ad to remind costumers that there are many people who are alone during the Christmas season.

The video focuses on a young girl using her telescope to look at the moon, where she sees an old man, alone. She wants to wish him a Merry Christmas, and does everything she can to do so. Just take a look at the video above.

John Lewis aims to raise awareness for the millions of older people, not just during the holiday season, that go without speaking to a friend, neighbor or loved one.
