While you can trust Adele when it comes to making music and breaking records, her managers are not so comfortable letting her control her own Twitter account. According to Mashable, the singer's tweets have to be approved by a number of people before they can appear on the public timeline, as Adele herself admitted to BBC, due to her history of drunk tweeting.

The revelation came after a member of the audience asked her:

%shareLinks-quote="Rumor has it, you're not allowed access to your own Twitter account" type="spreadWord"%

To answer the question, Adele explained the situation while clarifying this decision was due to a thing of the past:

That is true, yeah, ha ha ha. I'm not a drinker any more, but when Twitter first came out I was drunk tweeting and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times. So my management decided that you have to go through two people and then it has to be signed off by someone. But they're all my tweets. No one writes my tweets. They just post them for me. So yeah, that's very, very true.

Maybe this is the reason why she got downgraded to a flip phone in the latest video for her song "Hello."
