Stargazers glimpse the year's last supermoon

Updated

The last supermoon of the year lit up the sky Monday night for the sixth and final time in 2015. A new or full moon that's at its closest to Earth, the supermoon put on an impressive show for stargazers who were able to catch a glimpse of the year's last occurrence.

Sadly, if you missed this week's event, you won't be able to see another full moon supermoon until next October.
