Kellogg's unveils 5 new Pop-Tarts flavors

Pop-Tarts lovers, rejoice! The popular breakfast snack is offering five new flavors that are bound to pique your interest.

Pop-Tarts debuted in 1964 with just four flavors: strawberry, blueberry, brown sugar cinnamon and apple currant, according to CNN Money. Offerings have increased to more than two dozen over the years, including fan-favorite flavors, s'mores and cookies and cream.

Flavors being added to the permanent lineup include Frosted Chocolatey Caramel, which will roll out in December, and Pink Lemonade, which is slated for April 2016.

Three limited edition flavors were also announced, including a yummy-sounding Frosted Maple Bacon and a head-scratching Frosted Watermelon, which will both be made available this December.

The final addition rolling out early next year is another variation of the classic strawberry -- a Frosted Spring Strawberry that features a cartoon on each pastry.
