But what if we were to tell you that there was a way to enhance it? And no, we're not talking about the traditional fruit additions like strawberries and cherries -- we're talking APPLE. CIDER.

Whether you're simply craving a sweet treat or want to wow your friends and family with your baking skills -- this apple cider funnel cake recipe makes for a great fall treat!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tbsp allspice

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 3 eggs

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 tbsp vanilla

  • 1 cup apple cider

  • 1 cup whole milk

Steps:

  • Add flour, salt, cinnamon, allspice and baking powder into bowl

  • In a separate bowl, add eggs, sugar, vanilla, apple cider and whole milk then blend

  • Blend in dry ingredients into liquid ingredient bowl

  • Place mixture in plastic bag and cup small tip at one corner

  • Slowly squeeze out into frying pan and fry each side 1 minute until golden brown

Serve with powdered sugar and a drop of your favorite ice cream to top it off. Yum!
