Taylor Swift ties the record for most No. 1s from one album on Billboard's radio-based Adult Pop Songs airplay chart (dated Oct. 31), as "Wildest Dreams" rises 3-1. The song is the fifth No. 1 on the ranking from Swift's album 1989.

Before her latest leader on the Nielsen Music-measured Adult Pop Songs chart, the first four singles from 1989 all reigned: "Shake It Off" (for eight weeks); "Blank Space" (six); "Style" (two); and "Bad Blood" (three).

Only one album (counting only material included in an original release) had previously generated five No. 1s on Adult Pop Songs (which ranks weekly plays on 92 reporting stations): Katy Perry's Teenage Dream. The 2010 set yielded the Adult Pop Songs toppers "California Gurls" (nine weeks); the title track (four); "Firework" (five); "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" (three); and "The One That Got Away" (one).

(Rereleased as Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection in 2012, Perry added the three-week Adult Pop Songs No. 1 "Wide Awake." That ballad and first single "Part of Me," which reached No. 4 on the ranking, were not released on the original Teenage Dream.)

On the all-genre airplay, sales and streaming-based Billboard Hot 100, Teenage Dream is tied with Michael Jackson's Bad (1987-88) for the most No. 1s, five each, from a single set. 1989 has produced three Hot 100 No. 1s: "Shake It Off," "Blank Space" and "Bad Blood." "Style" peaked at No. 6 and "Wildest Dreams" has reached No. 8 so far.

"Wildest Dreams" is Swift's sixth Adult Pop Songs No. 1 overall. She first led for a week in 2013 with "I Knew You Were Trouble." from her album Red.
