36 years ago, John Burke Krasinski was brought into this world. So in honor of this incredibly important day, here are 10 times we fell deeper in love with the handsome actor:
1) When Jim and Pam from The Office proved to have one of the greatest love stories on primetime television:
"Truly, when I say the show has given me everything, it's given me everything," Krasinski told TODAY's Matt Lauer, which includes meeting his real wife, actress Emily Blunt.
2. When we realized that John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are actual relationship goals:
Upon first meeting Blunt, Krasinski told Ellen DeGeneres:"It was one of those things where I wasn't really looking for a relationship and I was thinking I'm going to take my time in L.A. Then I met her and I was so nervous. I was like, 'Oh god, I think I'm going to fall in love with her.' As I shook her hand I went, 'I like you.'"
3. When he showed off his seriously good storytelling chops:
In the video, Krasinski tells an epic tale from his college days that include a Friendly's restaurant, a dead car, a drug dealer and a nitrus pump. Let's just say things got a little crazy.
4. But then we found out he's an even better prankster:
John and Emily have been trapped in a holiday prank war of epic proportions with Jimmy Kimmel and his wife over the years. All of these ideas are pretty diabolical -- and they don't stop.
5. When he wasn't afraid shake what his mama gave him:
A fond lover of karaoke, Krasinski is always up for the next Lip Sync Battle. See his hilariously fierce performance of "Proud Mary" against Anna Kendrick's rendition of "Booty" here.
6. The moment he showed his love of comedy and charity:
His ALS Ice Bucket Challenge had us laughing well after the video ended. And then, the actor the recorded him surprising his wife with the same fate.
7. When he showed the world that he's not just an incredible husband, but also an adoring father:
8. The moment we found out he still gets starstruck:
Stars -- they're just like us! Krasinski told The Hollywood Reporter that it took him a while to calm down after meeting his 'Promised Land' cowriter Matt Damon.
"I had to get it through my brain that I was actually writing with the dude who wrote Good Will Hunting...And being from Boston, that's pretty much as important a movie as you can get," he said.
9. When he displayed his incredible devotion to his hometown
Born and bred in Boston, Krasinski has some serious allegiance to the city. When Deflategate caused waves earlier this year, he was by the New England Patriots' side the whole time. Krasinski is so loyal that he and a couple of his famous friends (with the help of Jimmy Kimmel) tried to take blame away from his beloved NFL team in the hilarious video above.
10. And last but certainly not least, every time he smiled. Seriously - look at it:
In conclusion: Thanks for being born, John Krasinski and happy 36th birthday!
