Richard Gere is known for his famous roles in hit movies like "Runaway Bride," and "Pretty Woman." However, his latest role opened his eyes to a world completely unknown to him.
For his latest film, "Time Out of Mind," Gere plays the role of a homeless man who is hoping to rekindle his relationship with his daughter. The Golden Globe winning actor went undercover for the role and witnessed the many problems homeless people face on a day to day basis.
It was because of Richard Gere's role in "Time Out of Mind" that he noticed the issue of homelessness, that he helped out all the homeless people he saw on the streets.
Homelessness is clearly an ongoing issue that continues to affect millions worldwide and hopefully more kind gestures like Gere's are set to come.
